Vol. 167 No. 15

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Taylor-Quinn that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the plans he has, in co-operation with the Mid-Western Health Board, to increase the number of beds in Ennis General Hospital and to update the hospital with additional medical staff and facilities.

I have also received notice from Senator Costello of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline his policy on the future of neo-natal care in the Rotunda Hospital and Temple Street Hospital, the timetable and budgetary provision for the redevelopment of Temple Street and the construction of a new neo-natal unit in the Rotunda.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
