The need for the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands to outline the plans she has for the maritime museum in Dún Laoghaire; the proposals she has for moving it from its current location; and the discussions which have taken place regarding its future.
I have notice from Senator Taylor-Quinn of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health and Children to review the situation in relation to the re-opening of the Stella Maris nursing home in Lisdoonvarna; to explain the protracted delays in negotiations with his Department; and to allocate the moneys necessary to enable the nursing home to re-open prior to Christmas.
I have notice from Senator Costello of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to clarify the steps he has taken to ensure that taxi plate holders, spouses, widows and family members are not suffering hardship as a result of the Government's decision to deregulate the taxi industry last year.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
