Vol. 168 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Jackman that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the procedures that are in place to ensure that unsuitable material is not included in primary school textbooks.

I have also received notice from Senator O'Brien that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to designate disadvantaged status to St. Patrick's boys' school, Ballybay, County Monaghan, and to provide an additional teacher.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
