Vol. 169 No. 16

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator O'Meara that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to expedite the building and refurbishment programme at Littleton national school, Thurles, County Tipperary, and to ensure that the additional teacher assigned to the school last year is retained for the coming year as this school is in a disadvantaged area.

I have also received notice from Senator Connor of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to refurbish the O'Conor Don national school, Cloobonniffe, Castlerea, County Roscommon.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
