Seanad Éireann debate -
Tuesday, 11 Feb 2003

Vol. 171 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Browne that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to make a statement on the progress being made in the Carlow Regional Youth Service's central youth facility.

I have received notice from Senator Feighan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to outline the reason Iarnród Éireann, despite many cash injections, has unsuitable and unsafe passenger trains on its mainline network, particularly on the Sligo and Westport lines.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
