Vol. 171 No. 12

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Kitt that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to outline his proposals to extend the Tuam sewerage scheme to Airglooney, Tuam.

I have also received notice from Senator Minihan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Defence to outline his proposals regarding the disposal of Department of Defence lands, known as the Camp Field at Collins Barracks, Cork with particular reference to the officers' married quarters; and if he will communicate with the residents of these quarters regarding their future occupancy.

I have also received notice from Senator Ulick Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline his plans for providing funding for the rebuilding and refurbishment of the Orchards Centre, Gort, County Galway, for people with special needs, which was destroyed by fire.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
