Vol. 178 No. 4

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Morrissey that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to extend in the forthcoming budget the terms of the travel saver ticket for bus and rail passengers to a wider public than at present due to the limited restrictions under which it can be purchased by employers.

I have also received notice from Senator Cummins of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to expedite the building of a new school in Tramore, County Waterford, to cater for pupils of Star of the Sea Sisters of Charity school and Edmund Rice CBS, which amalgamated in 2000.

I have also received notice from Senator Browne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to provide disabled parking permits for children with autism so their parents are entitled to park in these slots.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
