Vol. 178 No. 18

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Bannon that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to clarify the position with regard to funding for the Longford central water supply and other areas in the county where chronic water supply problems are being encountered.

I have also received notice from Senator Browne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to outline Government policy on wireless technology and, in particular, the steps the Government will take to ensure that the public is kept informed and aware of any issues relating to it.

I have also received notice from Senator McHugh of the following matter:

The need to ask the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to expedite the training module which would enable the Mulroy coast and cliff rescue boat to be commissioned.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
