Vol. 178 No. 28

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Kitt that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to approve funding to buy lands beside Cahergal national school, Tuam, County Galway, so the board of management can proceed with work under the devolved scheme for primary school buildings.

I have also received notice from Senator McHugh of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline when the proposed necessary extension and repairs will be carried out to Scoil Mhuire national school, Dristernan, Gleneely, Inishowen, County Donegal.

I have also received notice from Senator Ulick Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the plans for the Bon Secours Hospital in Tuam, which was purchased by the Western Health Board more than five years ago and is lying abandoned; and to indicate if she has approved the plans submitted by the Western Health Board.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
