Vol. 182 No. 18

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Finucane that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to outline when an application for a sewage treatment plant was first received by his Department for Dromcollogher, County Limerick, and the current status of this application; when he anticipates works will commence and when it is likely they will be finalised.

I have also received notice from Senator Morrissey of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the ongoing controversy relating to the completion of the port tunnel concerning the extensive water leaks.

I have also received notice from Senator Feighan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the reason Roscommon psychiatric foster care services are not receiving the necessary funding and support to continue this valued community-based service.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
