I move:
That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, the Seanad shall meet on Friday, 12 December, 2008 at 10.30 a.m. and the provisions of Standing Orders 16 and 29 shall not apply to this sitting; the business to be transacted shall be all stages of the Health Bill 2008 and a motion of concurrence by the Seanad with the earlier signature of the Bill and the following arrangements shall apply:-
(i) in respect of the Second Stage of the Bill the contribution of each spokesperson shall not exceed 12 minutes and of every other Senator shall not exceed 7 minutes;
(ii) business shall be interrupted for 30 minutes on the completion of Second Stage; and
(iii) the motion of concurrence with the earlier signature of the Bill shall be taken without debate on the conclusion of the fifth stage of the Bill".
