Vol. 195 No. 17

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Shane Ross that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to instruct Dublin Bus to cease predatory activities in relation to private operators in the Dublin region, as exemplified by the recent issues between Swords Express and Dublin Bus.

I have also received notice from Senator Paschal Donohoe that he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to guarantee that Gaelscoil Bharra, Cabra, Dublin 7 will be placed on the next available school building list.

I have also received notice from Senator Eugene Regan that he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to clarify when funding will be made available for a patient (details supplied) in Loughlinstown hospital who has a place in Blackrock Cheshire Home but cannot avail of it as he is waiting for funding to be made available for a personal assistant-carer.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
