If the debate is being extended, time should be given to the Labour Party to contribute. It would be ridiculous if the party did not participate and Senator Alex White is present.

The Minister has been patient but I appreciate Senator White would like to contribute and, therefore, I propose to extend the sitting to 2.45 p.m.
