Vol. 197 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator David Norris that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Defence to review the policy of the Irish Army of acquiring military equipment, including surveillance equipment, from Israeli firms implicated in the monitoring of the illegal separation wall dividing Israeli-Palestinian territory and also the military invasion of Gaza.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to indicate what is to be done to maximise the holistic approach to lifelong aftercare for breast cancer patients, particularly those who need prosthetics.

I have also received notice from Senator Maria Corrigan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to give a report on the establishment of an inspectorate for residential facilities for children with disabilities, residential facilities for unaccompanied minors and residential facilities for adults with disabilities.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
