Vol. 199 No. 7

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from the Senator Pearse Doherty that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to make a statement on whether the hours currently being provided for under the home help scheme in County Donegal will be reduced.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to provide a paediatric pathologist in the north west, either as a stand-alone service or on a cross-Border linked basis.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to make a statement on the need for an independent inquiry to establish the cause of the recent serious flooding in Cork city.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
