Vol. 209 No. 10

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to have the full rheumatology service restored at Letterkenny General Hospital, County Donegal.

I have also received notice from Senator Paschal Mooney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to clarify if he recognises the vital support provided by Foroige's Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ireland initiative; the social and economic benefits resulting from the initiative; accepts the need for the service to continue, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs to establish a missing children's hotline in Ireland.

I have also received notice from Senator David Cullinane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to publish, as a matter of urgency, the Cahill/Frontier Economics report on the ESB and to commit to the future of the ESB as a vertically integrated utility.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
