Vol. 234 No. 12

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Mary Moran that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to address the situation of an elderly person living full time in a nursing home setting while being charged for water and wastewater services in the family home, even though the person no longer lives in the residence and will not be using water services.

I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
