Vol. 234 No. 13

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to clarify the import of the minutes of a meeting between the Minister, An Taoiseach and Marine Harvest about the Galway Bay Sea Farm project.

I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to establish a task force, with representatives from sports organisations, sports medicine bodies, primary and post-primary schools, in order to devise an appropriate educational programme to improve awareness of sports-related concussion, its management and possible consequences among players, parents, coaches and medics.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
