Vol. 295 No. 3

Gnó an tSeanaid - Business of Seanad

I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Seán Kyne - the need for the Minister for Justice to make a statement on funding for Domestic Violence Response Galway.

Senator Victor Boyhan - the need for the Minister for Social Protection to make a statement on progress with consultations to identify a mechanism for the registration of wills.

Senator Mark Wall - the need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide an update on the review of the housing aid and housing adaptation grants.

Senator John McGahon - the need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the free primary schoolbooks scheme.

Senator Sharon Keogan - the need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the retrospective applicability of the vacant property refurbishment grant to eligible works on a vacant property which were carried out prior to the owner applying for a grant under the scheme.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Seán Kyne, Victor Boyhan, Mark Wall and John McGahon and they will be taken now. Senator Keogan may give notice on another day of the matter she wishes to raise.
