I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:Senator Niall Blaney - The need for the Minister for Justice to establish a new Garda station in west Donegal.Senator Niall Ó Donnghaile - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to ensure important GAA championship fixture matches are free to air in Ireland, particularly in light of the cost-of-living crisis.Senator John McGahon - The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the criteria to be used in the provision of FreeStyle Libre.Senator Lynn Boylan - The need for the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform to make a statement on the recommendation of the Citizens’ Assembly on Biodiversity Loss that the Arterial Drainage Act 1945 be reviewed and updated.Senator Victor Boyhan - The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to make a statement on progress on a formal state aid notification by the European Commission to Ireland in relation to the forestry programme 2023 to 2027, including any additional information required and confirmation that funding remains committed for the programme.Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to outline his plans to support the development of a viticulture industry in Ireland.Senator Emer Currie - The need for the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science to make a statement on the expansion of access to third-level courses for people returning to work. The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. I have selected those raised by Senators Blaney, Ó Donnghaile, McGahon and Boylan and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
