Fiafraítear díot sa reifreann seo an aontaíonn tú leis an togra–
(a) chun an t-alt seo a leanas a scriosadh as Airteagal 41 den Bhunreacht:
"2 1° Go sonrach, admhaíonn an Stát go dtugann an bhean don Stát, trína saol sa teaghlach, cúnamh nach bhféadfaí leas an phobail a ghnóthú dá éagmais.
2° Uime sin, féachfaidh an Stát lena chur in áirithe nach mbeidh ar mháithreacha clainne, de dheasca uireasa, dul le saothar agus faillí a thabhairt dá chionn sin ina ndualgais sa teaghlach."
agus
(b) chun an tAirteagal seo a leanas a chur isteach i ndiaidh Airteagal 42A den Bhunreacht:
"Cúram
Airteagal 42B
Admhaíonn an Stát go dtugtar taca don Chomhdhaonnacht, ar taca é nach bhféadfaí leas an phobail a ghnóthú dá éagmais, de bhíthin cúram a bheith á thabhairt ag daoine de theaghlach dá chéile toisc na snaidhmeanna atá eatarthu, agus beidh an Stát ag dréim le tacú leis an gcúram sin a thabhairt."

I move:
That the statement set out in the Schedule to this Resolution be prescribed for the information of voters, pursuant to section 23 of the Referendum Act 1994 (No. 12 of 1994), in relation to the proposal to amend the Constitution which is contained in the Fortieth Amendment of the Constitution (Care) Bill 2023 and is the subject of a constitutional referendum.

Fortieth Amendment of the Constitution (Care) Bill 2023 – Green Ballot Paper
Statement for the Information of Voters
You are being asked, in this referendum, if you agree with the proposal –
(a) to delete the following section from Article 41 of the Constitution:
"2 1° In particular, the State recognises that by her life within the home, woman gives to the State a support without which the common good cannot be achieved.
2° The State shall, therefore, endeavour to ensure that mothers shall not be obliged by economic necessity to engage in labour to the neglect of their duties in the home."
and
(b) to insert the following Article after Article 42A of the Constitution:
"Care
Article 42B
The State recognises that the provision of care, by members of a family to one another by reason of the bonds that exist among them, gives to Society a support without which the common good cannot be achieved, and shall strive to support such provision."
