I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:Senator Annie Hoey - The need for the Minister for Rural and Community Development to review the Dog Breeding Establishments Act 2010. Senator Paul Daly - The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications to expedite the waiting times for SEAI warmer homes scheme applicants.Senator Mary Seery Kearney - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on his recent announcement of €9 million in funding for the Iveagh Markets and to outline the next steps in this process.Senator Eugene Murphy - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the proposed cutting of special education teacher hours at Granlahan National School, Ballinlough, County Roscommon. Senator John Cummins - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the annual savings made from periodic reviews of medical cards for over 70s versus the cost of carrying out such reviews.Senator Fintan Warfield - The need for the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media to outline the actions being taken to address the acute and urgent need for artist work spaces across the State.Senator Tom Clonan - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the status of children on waiting lists for urological surgery and interventional urological procedures at Children’s Health Ireland. CHI, and whether or not CHI and the HSE are in breach of EU requirements to provide such services to disabled Irish children and adolescents.Senator Niall Blaney - The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs to make a statement on the status of Irish Government funding for the N2 and A5 Dublin to Derry route.Senator Malcolm Byrne - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the use of schools as the primary venue for polling centres in elections and referendums and if alternatives could be considered.Senator Victor Boyhan - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the decision by St. John of God Community Services to transfer its service responsibilities for the care, training, employment, social and residential programmes to adults and children with intellectual disabilities to the HSE. Senator Robbie Gallagher - The need for the Minister for Finance to ensure that all homeowners have the same rights and protections, including those whose loans are with vulture funds.Senator Emer Currie - The need for the Minister of State with responsibility for special education and inclusion to provide an update on the home tuition grant payment to PALS Preschool, Finglas, Dublin 11.The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Senators Hoey, Paul Daly, Seery Kearney and Murphy and they will be taken now. All other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
