I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator Micheál Carrigy - The need for the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to allocate additional funding for St. Christopher's Services, Longford.

Senator Marie Sherlock - The need for the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to make a statement on the supports available for home visiting services in Ireland and the current reliance on private funding to provide such services.

Senator Paddy Burke - The need for the Minister for Education to make a statement on the requirement for a new school building for Castlebar Educate Together, County Mayo.

Senator Paul Gavan - The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications to make a statement on the deposit return scheme and disability access to the reverse vending machines located in stores.

Senator Robbie Gallagher - The need for the Minister for Finance to make a statement on the impact of increases in excise duty on petrol and diesel at Border filling stations which will see them lose trade due to cheaper prices across the Border.

Senator Pauline O'Reilly - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on whether Ireland will co-sponsor a resolution to endorse the recently published World Health Organization's Guidance on regulatory measures aimed at restricting digital marketing of breast-milk substitutes, which is to be adopted at the 77th World Health Assembly in May 2024.

Senator Emer Currie - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to make a statement on the protection of brent geese, and to include the utilisation of Dublin public parks.

Senator Garret Ahearn - The need for the Minister for Transport to make a statement on the proposed funding allocation for the preliminary design of Ardfinnan Bridge, County Tipperary, and on timelines for completion.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion and I have selected Senators Micheál Carrigy, Marie Sherlock, Paddy Burke, Paul Gavan, Robbie Gallagher and Pauline O'Reilly and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters that they wish to raise.
