In page 10, subsection (3), line 47, to delete "at any time" and substitute "with reasonable cause".

Withdrawal of an appointment to act as an inspector would not entail termination of employment, nor would it affect pay and conditions. The usual Forbairt procedures would be followed under which the inspector would be advised of a decision and given an opportunity to put her or her view. It is envisaged that the withdrawal of an appointment would arise only in a disciplinary context. I am confident the proper procedures will be followed by Forbairt and, therefore, I regret I cannot accept this amendment.
I am disappointed but, having said I will co-operate, I will withdraw the amendment.
