SECTION 30.

Question proposed: "That section 30 stand part of the Bill."

What happens in the case of confidential information being disclosed by a member of the board? No action seems to be taken where people divulge confidential information, even though legislation may specifically state that proceedings can be taken. How can this be enforced?

Disclosure of confidential information is an offence under this Bill.

What sanctions can be imposed for such disclosure?

Section 30 makes it an offence to disclose confidential information and section 65 outlines the penalties for disclosure.

The history of these sections is that no action is ever taken.
