Message to Dáil.

In accordance with Standing Order 85, the following message will be sent to the Clerk of the Dáil:

The Select Committee on Enterprise and Small Business has completed its consideration of the Industrial Development (Science Foundation of Ireland) Bill 2002 [Seanad] and has made amendment thereto.

I thank the Minister of State and his officials for attending the meeting this morning and look forward to working with them during the term of this Government. I thank them for being so helpful and attentive to the legislation on hand. I also thank members for their attendance and their contributions as representatives of their parties.

When will we take Report Stage?

Next Thursday, 3 July 2003.

I thank Deputies for their contributions, my officials for their work and the Chairman for the efficient and speedy manner in which he dealt with our deliberations on the Bill.

I thank the Minister and his officials for being so helpful with the Bill and I look forward to Report Stage and raising further issues.

I, too, thank the Minister of State for his efficient handling of the Bill, along with the Chairman and members.

The select committee adjourned at 10.46 a.m. sine die.
