I remind Members that the next meeting of the joint committee has been scheduled for Wednesday next, 17 December, at 2.30 p.m. In view of this meeting, I propose that the select committee adjourn sine die.

Would it be possible for our meetings to start at 2 p.m. rather than 2.30 p.m? Would that cause difficulty?
If the majority of Members agreed to 2 p.m., we would be happy to meet the Deputy's requirements.
What is on the agenda for the meeting?
It is the draft work programme of the joint committee.
Will there be discussions in advance or will members make decisions on the day?
The Clerk to the Committee will provide a draft which will be discussed on the day.
