Message to Dáil.

In accordance with Standing Order 85, the following message will be sent to the Dáil:

The Select Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights has completed its consideration of the following motion:

That Dáil Éireann approve the terms of the agreement between the Government of Ireland and the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China concerning the surrender of fugitive offenders, a copy of which was laid before the Dáil on 5 October 2007.

The joint committee went into private session at 3.40 p.m. and resumed in public session at 3.45 p.m.
