The Select Committee on the Environment, Heritage and Local Government has completed its consideration of the following motion:
That Dáil Éireann approves, in accordance with Article 29.5.2° of Bunreacht na hÉireann, the ratification by Ireland of the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, as signed by Ireland in Stockholm on 23rd May, 2001,
copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 29th June, 2010.
