SECTION 30

I move amendment No. 61 :

In subsection (1), page 15, lines 37 and 38, to delete from " though arising " to the end of the subsection and substitute " shall be deemed to be a cause of action within section 9."

This amendment is consequential on the new section 9 which the Committee agreed to at its last meeting. The new section 9 will cover all causes of action, whether arising in tort, contract or quasi-contract. It is accordingly necessary to change the concluding words of subsection (1) of section 30.
