SECTION 100.

I move amendment No. 126a:

In page 86, between lines 12 and 13, to insert the following subsection:

"(2) the report referred to in subsection (1) shall be published by the Minister.".

There is a requirement here that an annual report should be presented to the Minister on behalf of the Stock Exchange. This amendment is saying that the Minister shall be required to publish this report. The public has a right to know what is in this report and the Minister should be obliged to publish it.

I am prepared to agree to that provided that essential information could be excluded from it.

For my part I would be prepared to agree to that also.

We had better draft that on Report Stage if we have agreed it in principle.
