724 Dr. Cowley asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a file (details supplied) in the possession of the Western Health Board is not available to the family, even though the allegations were found to be untrue; the reason this family have been told on numerous occasions that this file is not available to them; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the matter referred to by the Deputy rests with the Western Health Board. Accordingly, my Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to reply directly to the Deputy.
