View answerThe new smoke-free workplaces measures will apply, with limited exceptions, to all enclosed places of work. These measures will not apply to outdoor areas. The provision of no smoking sections in outdoor areas, such as beer gardens, would be a matter for the occupier, manager or person in charge of the workplace concerned.
