115 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Health and Children the total number of births in each of the Dublin maternity hospitals for each of the past five years broken down by the nationality of the mother and the normal country of residence of the mother; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Services at the Dublin maternity hospitals are provided under an arrangement with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
