305 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the amount paid by the SEHB to non-medical consultants in each year since 2002; if past employees of the SEHB are retained as consultants; if so, the qualifications and expertise of same and the purpose of their consultancy; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for non-medical consultants rests in this instance with the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer to investigate the matters raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
