462 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources if his Department has made ready the proposals to assist local authorities in adopting regulations on the operation of jet skis or power boats in waters within their jurisdiction; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The proposals being formulated by my Department to address the issue of the regulation of jet skis and similar craft are at an advanced stage and I expect to bring them to Government in the near future.
