522 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of beds in Letterkenny General Hospital; if he has satisfied himself that said number is sufficient to cater for the needs of 140,000 in Donegal; if there are plans to increase the number of beds; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of services at Letterkenny General Hospital rests with the North Western Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to him directly.
