View answerThe information requested by the Deputy is not routinely collated in my Department. My Department has, therefore, asked the South Western Area Health Board acting under the aegis of the Eastern Regional Health Authority to provide the information sought, which will be forwarded to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
I am happy to inform the Deputy that capital developments costing €8 million aimed at considerably improving the standard of accommodation in the Meath Hospital are currently under way. This is a project which, as Minister of State, I regard as a high priority.
