View answerThe information requested by the Deputy is not readily available in my Department as funding is allocated by the boards on a case-by-case basis. The Minister is aware of the concerns raised by parents. A number of the health boards have been working together with the Irish Society for Autism to address various concerns, including those raised by parents. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the South Western Area Health Board to reply directly to the Deputy on behalf of the various boards in relation to this matter.
