View answerI have been informed by the Garda authorities which are responsible for the detailed allocation of resources, including personnel, that a vacancy at garda rank arose at Moneygall Garda station on 31 March 2004 due to the retirement of a member of the Garda Síochána and that local Garda management intends filling this vacancy at the earliest opportunity.
