192 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he has received a submission from Shankhill GAA Club proposing a GAA centre of excellence and Irish cultural centre for the former Shanganagh Prison, Shankhill, County Dublin; the consideration he has given to the proposal; if he will make the premises available for this purpose; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have to date received no formal submission on the proposal mentioned by the Deputy. I have, however, already decided, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, that the property in question will be sold with the proceeds dedicated to the Irish Prison Service capital building programme. This process is now underway.
