176 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of appeals on applications for medical card refusals processed by the Western Health Board for County Mayo in the years 2002 and 2003; the number of appeals that resulted in a medical card being granted; and the number that resulted in the refusal being upheld.
