238 Mr. Kehoe asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford can be offered additional respite care during the summer holidays as the family are finding it increasingly difficult to give full-time care; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Responsibility for the provision of health related services for people with an intellectual disability and autism in the Wexford region is a matter, in the first instance, for the South Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the South Eastern Health Board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
