David Stanton
Question:365 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government his views on the fact that persons living outside the administrative areas of many towns in the State can vote in the town council elections of those towns and can therefore influence the composition of those councils even though these councils do not provide services to persons living outside the administrative areas; the way in which these electoral boundaries are decided; his plans to examine this issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
