267 Mr. Healy asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will urgently approve the continuation of the Knockmeal (details supplied) school transport service which has been in operation for the past twenty years and which is threatened with withdrawal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Catchment boundary transport may continue to be provided from the nearest pick-up point within the catchment area in question subject to there being spare accommodation available on the bus after all fully eligible pupils to that centre have been facilitated.
