240 Mr. J. O’Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí who completed their training and passed out of Templemore in each of 2002, 2003 and 2004; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23954/04]
View answerI have been informed by the Garda authorities that the number of recruits who graduated from the Garda College in 2002 and 2003 and up to 4 October 2004, as well as projected figures for the period between 5 October 2004 and 31 December 2004 are as follows: 485 in 2002, 475 in 2003, 363 in 2004 up to 4 October and 175 between 5 October and 31 December 2004.
