View answerAn application for grant aid towards an extension has been received from the management authority of the school to which the Deputy refers and schedules of accommodation have been agreed. My officials are nearing completion of a review of all projects, which did not proceed to construction as part of the 2004 school building programme with a view to including them as part of a multi-annual programme from 2005. The needs of the school referred to are being considered as part of this review. I expect to be providing details of this multi-annual programme before the end of the current year. My Department has not issued an instruction on the enrolment of students.

The need for a new primary school in Kilfinane is being considered as part of this review. I expect to provide details of this multi-annual programme before the end of the current year.
