93 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to concerns expressed by members of the Garda Síochána regarding the reliability of the Garda radio system and that some gardaí on patrol have had to use their own mobile phones to keep in touch; the steps that are being taken to ensure that all gardaí are provided with a reliable radio system; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
