168 Mr. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children if any new advisers or consultants have been appointed by her since the Government reshuffle of September 2004; if such appointments are replacements for or are in addition to previous appointments; the salary and terms of employment in each case; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children (Ms Harney)

I have appointed one additional adviser with effect from 29 September 2004. The rate of pay for this adviser is €107,102 per annum. The appointment is to a temporary unestablished position in the Department and will terminate not later than the date on which I will cease to hold office as Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children.
