View answerThe provision of telecommunications services, including voice and broadband, is a matter in the first instance for the private sector companies operating in a fully liberalised market, regulated by ComReg, the Commission for Communications Regulation. The information requested should be sought directly from Eircom. The Deputy should also refer to www.broadband.gov.ie regarding the availability of broadband generally in County Meath.
